Senate N1 dispersion **increasing** (ρ=+0.422) while House N1 falls is preserved as a **primary
finding**, not noise. Do not average chambers, redefine rigidity to drop Senate, or explore
Senate-only recoveries. Adjacent first-differences (House 5/17, Senate 1/17 all-three rigidity
signs) show endpoint trend ≠ smooth per-step process.
